Have you ever asked, "What is the end game?" I know you have and it applies to "systemic racism" too, as I will explain in this blog.
How did all this systemic racism thing ever start? I think it was because when people looked around at the world, they saw that Blacks did not seem to be doing as well as Whites. I think that we can all see that. The problem came in when people started looking for "why" or "what was the cause"? The only thing that they were willing to admit too was that it had to be because of some kind of "systematic racism". They could not put their finger on exactly where the racism came in or effected the Black population, but it had to be there someplace., so they called it "systematic racism". Notice that you can not take anyone to court or have them arrested for "systematic racism"? It is like some kind of invisible smoke that just drifts in and out.
Now that a group has this business of systematic racism floating thru our society, exactly what is their "end game"? It seems to be some kind of "equity" where Blacks are equal to Whites on a whole series of parameters. Let's first look at income and net worth. If the Blacks had the same income and net worth as the average White person, we would have to assume that equality had been reached and that systematic racism was dead. If you look a little deeper, you will find that Asians are higher on the scale than Whites when it comes to income and net worth. Why is that? If you were to follow the logic of the systematic racism people, you would have to conclude that, some how, the Asians are promoting racism against the Whites. Do you follow that? Because there is not "equity" between Asians and Whites. Note also that it has not always been this way. There was a time when Asians had a lower income and net worth than Whites and now that has all changed. Why? If we were honest about the answer, it might apply to the current Black vs Whites situation that we are all in a sweat about.
I think that you all know why the Asians have moved from below Whites to above Whites and why is that? Don't have a clew? Let me help you. Asians have a strong family structure and disciplined children. When the opportunity of attending public schools that were equally available to all became available to Asians, they took advantage of it. The Asian family demanded that their children attend these public schools and focus on learning and they did that and they did it very well. The math scores of Asians is well above that of both Whites and Blacks. It was no accident! The father of the average Asian wants a report from their child each day on how well they did in school that day, while the Black child does not even know who his father is. Is it the teacher's fault that Blacks score so low in math? I don't think so and neither do you if you are honest.
Now, back to the End Game. If there were some magic way that the average Black could score as well as the average Asian, would the game of systematic racism be over or would Blacks try to find some other factor where they were not equal. If Blacks could score as well as Asians in math without having to do all the hard work and discipline of the Asians, do you think that would be fair or equal? No! We all know that there is no free lunch in this world, so why would we allow Blacks to take some kind of short cut? I guess that the bottom line is that Blacks have to stop complaining and start looking at themselves as victims and get to work just like the Asians if they want "equality".
I am not sure that Blacks are interested in the end game if it requires them to act responsibly and with personal discipline. It is too easy to just keep complaining and not looking into the mirror for the answer to their problems.
PS---We need to stop comparing Blacks with Whites and start comparing them to Asians. If we were to do that I think that it would stop all the riots and burning down cities and start focusing on the real problem and the SOLUTION. We need less focus on the problem and more on the SOLUTION!
