Illegal immigration

 I have been watching what is happening with illegal immigration across our southern border and have some opinions on the subject.

We seemed so concerned about Global Warming but do not seem to understand that all of this illegal immigration is making Global Warming even worse. How can that be you may ask.  Well if someone who now has a lower quality of life, they do not cause as much Global Warming as someone who lives a high quality of life.  A person who lives in a hut and only gets a minimum to eat and has no car does not cause as much as person who lives in an airconditioned house and drives a car and flies an airplane.  That has to be clear to all. If that poor person gets into the USA they will cause much more Global Warming than if they just stayed in their hut and stopped having babies they could not afford to take care of.

If the USA tested the Supreme Court's decision on free school for illegal kids 5 to 4 decision, I think that the decision would be reversed.  We should not allow kids who are not citizens to go to our schools for free/  Remember the cost of one kid is about $15,000 per year and in New York it is about $20,000.  Do you think that the parents of the illegal immigrants are paying that much in taxes?  The answer is a clear "NO". 

How about work permits?  If they could not get a job here, many would stay home.  Remember that many send money back to their families and how much does that help the economy of the USA.  How does that improve out quality of life?  It might help some rich business made more money by using cheap labor, but it does not help the average person.

Why do you think the cost of education has gone up so much in the past few years?  We have too many students in our colleges that are not citizens.  When you, as a parent, pays the taxes, you would expect that your did would have more rights to go to the college in your town than the kid who was from some other country and not even a citizen.  Sorry.

How do you change a humans conduct?  There are two basic ways. (1) Reward them (2) Punish them.  What is happening in the USA we are rewarding them if they come here illegally.  What we need to do is to punish them if the try to come here illegally. Why don't we?  We are too stupid!

Even legal immigration is not in the interest of the USA citizens and tax payers if it encourages people to immigrate here.  Why do most people want to immigrate here?  It is because where they now live is over populated.  Remember that in 1850 the population of the whole Earth was just ! billion.  Today it is 8 billion and in 25 years, at current rates, it will be 16 billion.  The USA now has about 75 people per square mile and from many of the countries where the illegal immigrants are coming from have a 1,000 or more per square mile.  Most can not even produce enough food to feed their populations.  I propose that we not allow any immigration into the USA from countries where the median age is less than 30 years old.  Over breeding is the primary cause of Global Warming and there is where we should be focused.  The average age of many countries in Africa is less than 20 and some below 15.  Girls have as many as 6 kids on average and their population doubles every 20 years.  There is no way that we can reduce Global Warming by 50% in the next 20 years.  If you have a brain, you must understand that.

What we all need to start doing is thinking for ourselves and our children.  Stop being concerned about what color shirt of dress you are going to buy this afternoon and think about your kids life in another 25 or even 50 years.

Blown Off Airplane Door

 The big news seems to be about door that blew off on the airplane over Oregon.  I listened to the news conference and here are my comments.

I just listened to the news conference and think the people from the news who were asking the questions are among the stupidest that I have ever heard.  If they were asking the types of questions that their readers want to ask, then their readers are as stupid as they are.  It seems clear that the door blew off because the pressure was higher inside the plane than the pressure out side.  Why were there no questions in this area?  I also did not hear any questions about the size of the door.  It is simple 4th grade math that is required to multiply the difference in pressure time the area of the door to calculate the pressure on the door.\

There were no questions about the pressure inside the plane except there were questions about a pressure light going on or off.  I noticed that there were no questions about the altitude of the plane and what its altitude range was.  It appears that the plane was not as high as it was rated for at the time the door blew off.

What I am going to do is to test some of my friends to see what they know about the door blowing off and what kind of question they have or think the possible causes were.  In the interview, a news reporter asked what were the possibilities.  The spokesman for the FAA said that they do not deal with possibilities, they only deal with facts.  That seem to me to be a validation of the stupidity of the FAA spokesman.  All decisions are a choice between the possible alternatives or possibilities. If one does not use this technique, the you go down all kinds of false trails.

This is just the first chapter about the door blowing off.  I will add a chapter when I also get more information.

Chapter II Gasket

Here is one simple possibility and that is the door has a gasket to prevent leakage. It is some kind of plastic that changes over time.  That is it seems firm when new but over time it is plastic or it sags over time.  What happens is that the bolt seem tight when first tightend, but over time the gasket shrinks and allows the bolt to loosen.  If the space between to head of the bolt ends up close to the threads holding it if the aluminum expands due to thermal cycling the impact is that the bolt stretches and yields. The impact is that the bolt loosens.  The same problem is common on manifold bolts on many engines.  If an engineer has experience with this situation they add an over thick washer that prevents the bolt from yielding.  My guess is that this is the problem.  If the bolt is steel and the door is aluminum, I can tell you this will be a problem unless the actions I describe are taken or a cotter pin is installed, but I think the design would not allow for a cotter pin.  Further the bolt was probably screwed into a blind hole and only accusable from only one side.  I told you!!!
