Hey, I am still here trying to connect the dots. Have you ever thought about why we have not heard anything about Rev Wright in a long time? Remember that Obama claimed that Rev Wright had more influence on him than anyone else? If that was the case, exactly what was that influence? I know it had nothing to do with reading the Bible. I think that I have an advantage over most people when it comes to understanding what the relationship between Obama and Rev Wright was. I come from a long line of Pentecostal preachers and as a kid I attended these churches with my family. One uncle was a preacher who had revival tents and was a faith healer. At one time he had a radio show too. He was good!
For some reason, my uncle "lost the calling" and ended up with a Kerby vacuum cleaner business. He sold door to door and had a bunch of salesmen working for him. I told you that he was good. In 1954, he made over $250,000 selling vacuum cleaners. Now, I think Obama could have given my uncle a run for his money selling Kerby vacuum cleaners. Now why do I bring up my uncle and my experience with faith healers and the Pentecostal church?
Obama was close to Rev Wright for over 20 years and at a time in his life when that the influence of Rev Wright would have had the most affect. Rev Wright was not your average preacher. He had a church with over 6,000 paying customers. Now Rev Wright lives in a multi million dollar home paid for by his take from the church. Rev Wright was good and he spotted Obama right away as a candidate for being a preacher. Now exactly what are preachers in the Black church or the Pentecostal church? The good ones are very smart and they know how to control and manipulate people. Remember that Rev Wright created from nothing a church of over 6,000 customers and he knew the first time he met Obama that he had what it would take to do the same thing.
Remember that Obama said that Rev Wright often came to their home. Now why do you think that was. The two of them talked one-on-one about the techniques that have been proven by preachers over hundreds of years to influence, control and manipulate people. Obama was a good student and had "more" of what it takes to be a "super" preacher. Rev Wright could clearly see that Obama had much more potential that did he. Obama was clearly the "disciple" of Rev Wright, but it would be in a different arena.
Remember the speech before the National New Club where Rev Wright read them the riot act? One thing that you have to have if you are going to run the con that most preachers run is total confidence in yourself. You can't fake confidence, it has to be real. You don't have to be right, but you have to be confident and Obama is confident. He is so confident that he speaks down to everyone. He can't help it. To do other wise would reduce his air of confidence and a good preacher can't let that happen.
I am not going to get into the details of the techniques used by preachers like Rev Wright or Obama, but you can look them up on the Internet. Some of the techniques are "mirroring", "leading", "pacing", "anchoring" and "repetition". Timing is key in most of these techniques and few can really master them all. I think that the reason that Obama uses the teleprompter is so that he does not miss one of these tricks. Notice his halting pace of speech and his call for audience participation at key points. Did you ever notice that the audience all seem to know when they should shout back? How did they all learn when to shout together? Obama taught them as part of the preaching technique.
Notice now Obama connects honest true points with points that are totally illogical? He starts with something true to get subtle report with your mind and then switches without you noticing. You can't just read a speech to pick this out because is has as much to do with delivery as it does with the actual words, He learned all this from Rev Wright. You don't think Rev Wright lacks for confidence do you? You can bet that Rev Wright and Obama talk on the phone a lot even though they know they can not have public contact.
Think about it? Obama did not suddenly learn all this on his own. Rev Wright is the one behind the curtain!!!!
