I was checking on the inter net to see who are now covered with Obamacare who did not have coverage before. I have found it very difficult to find any good data. The data from our government makes a big deal that 16 million people now have coverage who did not have it without Obamacare. That kind of data sounds good to those of us who are "one movers" and who are marginally intelligent. In the data, they admit that most are "minorities". This means Black. I would like to find how many were high school drop outs or who got knocked up out of wedlock. If you figure that 50% of Blacks do not complete high school and over 85% are born out of wedlock, you can figure that these socially irresponsible people are the one the data is talking about. You have to ask why people who are hard working and have been responsible have to pay more taxes to provide for those who have acted irresponsibly? If we had Darwin rather than Obama calling the shots, Darwin would penalize the irresponsible behavior of minorities while Obama wants to "reward" it. Can you see where all this is going? I think you can.
What we need is for our government to provide us with the data that shows exactly who the people are who are getting "free" Obamacare. As tax payers, we all know who the people are who, now, have to pay more. You can bet that these are the responsible people in our society who work hard and pay for their own medical care. Look at people who take drugs. Do you think that you should take food from the mouths of your kids in order to take care of drugies? I don't think so. Look at the 50% of kids who drop out of high school and are never able to hold down a competitive job? Look at the kids who allow themselves to get knocked up and thus take them out of the labor force and burden those of us who are hardworking taxpayers?
Some where along the line, we are all going to have to look into the mirror and admit that our problem is with in certain groups of our people. Until we do that, all this political business is not going to solve our problem. Here is what I think we should do:
(1) People who have not graduated high school should not be allowed to vote. This means all people, not matter their age or where they were born.
(2) The parents of any kids that were born out of wedlock should not be allowed to vote. Period! I know that this would mean most professional football and basketball players would not be able to vote.
(3) People who were convicted of selling illegal drugs should not be allowed to vote either.
(4) Felons should not be allowed to vote even if they have served their jail time.
(5) Only persons who are born in the USA to legal parents should be allowed to vote.
Unless we do something like this we will continue to have our dishonest polititions spending our tax money to "buy" their votes. This is the whole reason for Obamacare and you know it. My family has been here in the USA for over 30 generations and none of their work was for the situation that we now have. You may not like my ideas, but what are your ideas? I don't think there is a "painless" way to clean up the mess that has been made.
