What is it going to take to get control of illegal immigrants crossing our Southern border? I will tell you in this blog.
First off we need to agree on the fact that there are at least two groups of people. One group that wants to fit into society and obey the laws and another that is basically hostile to society. Given that these two groups are so different, it stands to reason that they have to be treated differently. In the first group by rewarding them for their efforts, they will strive to do more. For the other group they see this kind of treatment as weakness that they can take advantage of. That mean the way to deal with them is "pain"/ The people who are illegally crossing our Southern border, they only respond to "pain". Are you will me so far?
What many people in the USA are doing is looking into the mirror and thinking about what motivates them. They respond to rewards and they feel that all people are like them. That is why so many people who have good intentions want to use rewards to stop the illegal immigrants. Given that these people are those who only respond to pain, we need to figure out how we can give them the needed pain.
At this time we are not giving them any pain and that has to change. Have you heard a discussion about how we can give these people pain? I don't think so. Exactly what that pain might be? I have a list that we all need to consider.
(1) Don't provide them any transportation to places they want to go as we do now.
(2) Don't give them any food or water. They need to provide for themselves.
(3) Don't give them medical services unless they have the money to pay for them.
(4) Don't let their kids go to our public schools for free. Make them pay as out of state or foreigners.
(5) If they violate any USA laws we should extradite the immediately
(6) Do not give them work permits.
(7) Don't allow them to remit money back home.
(8) Don't allow their children to automatically become citizen if they are born here unless one parent is a citizen of the USA.
(9) Do not allow immigrants of any type to sponsor additional new immigrants.
(10) We need to prosecute people and companies who hire illegal immigrants.
(11) Do not allow any tax money to be used to aid illegal immigrants.
(12) Prosecute drug dealers as murders.
(13) Do not allow any tax money to any NGO that aids illegal immigrants.
This is my starting list and we need to take them seriously in we ever expect to get control of immigration here in the USA. The longer we wait the harder it is going to be..
