Our current inflation problem should be named the "Biden's Inflation". I will explain in this blog.
If Biden had just done nothing, I do not feel we would be having this serious inflation problem. It is almost impossible for any President to have made the series of totally wrong decisions about the economy that Biden has. There is no way to have come up with as many bad decisions in a row by chance alone as Biden has done. Because of that point, one can only conclude that Biden's objective has to be to destroy the USA because that is exactly what is happening.
Look at killing the pipeline project that was to bring crude oil down from Canada on day one. We all know that the cheapest and safest way to transport crude oil is by pipeline. What Biden did was not to stop the shipment of Canadian crude oil down too the USA, but has only made it more expensive to ship the crude oil down by train tank cars. The environmental effect was made worse too.
If that were not enough, Biden stopped all oil drilling on public lands and declared war on fracking for natural gas. We all know that our expanded use of natural gas for power generation has had more impact on cleaning up the air of the world than anything else. Remember that the state of New York has also made it impossible to frack for natural gas in their state. They think that they can get their power from out of state in places like Canada and save the environment in the process
How about Biden's push for more spending on infrastructure? Why build bigger and more efficient ports so the Chinese products are cheaper to import? My feeling is that 99% of what we call infrastructure should be the responsibility of the States, not the Federal government. I thought that building the fence between the USA and Mexico was infrastructure! In the case of the fence or wall as it turns out we already paid for most of the material and by the terms of the contracts, the government still has to pay the companies and their workers. Sounds like more inflation to me.
How about not recognizing natural immunity to Covid-19 and making companies vaccinate people who do not need to be vaccinated? Further, what about paying them more to stay home from work than to go find a job. We already have more than 10 million open jobs, yet Biden wants to try to create more with excess government spending.
How about this whole Green Movement? If it was cheaper to get energy from the wind and the Sun than coal and oil. the capitalist system would have been already doing it. It is the same with electric cars and trucks. Remember that the very first cars were electric back in the 1800's and why do you think that idea died? Gas engines were cheaper. If you think about it, did you ever see where your family had more food and other things when the price of those things went up? You get more pay when you produce more and when those products are cheaper. We call that efficiency and productivity. Biden seems to have a demented idea that the government is smarter than than capitalism. Can you think of anything that the government can do cheaper than you? I did not think so.
Back in 1776 we had a revolution against the nobility of Europe and it would not surprise me if we had another revolution and it would be for the "same" reason. We do not want to have a King, Queen or over powering government try to do for us or against us what we can do best for ourselves.
