Don't you think it is possible to understand liberal socialists? It is. This blog is about how to understand liberal socialists. This is not about showing how misguided they are, it is about how they think and why.
First of all, liberal socialists are not bad people. They want the same things for their kids that most of us do. They also want what is best for the country too. They are patriots just like most other people. If they want the same things that we do, why are they so different? Starting to see the problem? There has to be something that makes liberal socialists different.
Here is the point. Liberal socialists are "one movers". "One movers" are people who are so simple minded that they can only see "one move" ahead. They never see that when they change one thing that it affects other things. Dogs and cats think only one step ahead, they never consider the future. If you give a dog a bowl of food, they eat the whole thing and don't save part of the food for the future. This is the same with liberal socialists and here is an example. They think that if we take the hard earned wealth from the more productive people and give it to those who are less productive that it will make life better. It would if that action did not have any affect on any other aspect of the economy, but here are the facts. Think about the people in Baltimore who dropped out of high school and knocked up their girl friend and don't have a job. A liberal socialist feels that taking the hard earned wealth from a farmer in Iowa and giving it to the knocked up girl is "good". I agree that that would be good for the knocked up girl if nothing else changed, but it does. The farmer in Iowa does not like the idea of a giving his hard earned money to the knocked up girl in Baltimore and as a result does not feel motivated to work 80 hours a week farming. He backs off and only works 40 hours per week and earns so little money that his tax load drops by 90%. Now, there is no money to pay the knocked up girl in Baltimore, plus the farmer has a lower quality of life.
The problem with liberal socialists is that they think the farmer will keep working 80 hours a week even though he has less income to feed and cloth his family. Do you really think the farmer will keep working 80 hours per week? I don't. I wouldn't. I would "coast" and do the minimum and this is what most people would do. Remember the quotation from Russia? "The government pretends to pay us and we pretend to work." Liberal socialists want to get you "there", but once "there" no liberal socialists wants to be "there". Interesting. Liberal socialists are like children who want something that they think will make them happy, but when they get it they are still not happy. It is human nature to think that what they can't have is better than what they now have.
Here is the situation with liberal socialists. Their con game only works when there is strong economic system that produces a lot of wealth. Capitalism is that economic system, just like we have had for the last 250 years. They think that the capitalism would continue unchanged when they stole the earnings from those hard working capitalists. Is that absurd or what? If you understand that simple point, then you understand the liberal socialist thinking. They are not bad people, they are just not very smart. They are more like dogs and cats than they are like humans with a brain that can think ahead. Simple isn't it?
PS---If you divide the voters into two groups base on income, those above the median and those below, what you will find is a much higher percentage of those below the median thinking that liberal socialism is a good idea. Those above the median who think liberal socialism is a good idea are mostly people who want to "run the show". Clinton and Obama are good examples of this type of thinking. Since Jews voted for Obama by 91%, most of them think they will be able to figure out a way that liberal socialism will have little affect on them, plus it will also allow them to "run the show". Don't discount egos in all this. People will do a lot of things if they think that it will allow them to "run the show".
PS---How about "minimum wage"? Liberal socialists want to raise it. It is a fact that it will result in a "higher" average wage for workers. That's a fact, but there will also be fewer workers. Many lower skilled workers will lose their jobs. That is a fact too. Another fact is that when you add up the wages of those who end up with jobs the total will be less than the total wages of workers before the mandate of a higher "minimum wage". Liberal socialist never too ahead to the negative impact of their actions.
