I don't want to offend those radical people who are on board with the Green Movement, but they appear to be some of the most stupid and uninformed people in the USA. This blog will point out just a few areas where they appear to be totally incompetent.
Exactly what is "renewable energy"? We know that all energy in the universe comes from nuclear. Didn't know that did you? Well it does. The energy here on Earth comes from the Sun and the Sun's energy is from nuclear. :Let's get that point straight right from the start. Now that that is out out of the way, let's look at renewable energy. Here is my list:
(1) Wood and plants
(2) Solar, photo and heating
(3) Wind (actually solar due to uneven heating of the atmosphere)
(4) Rain water at elevation
(5) Geothermal (nuclear energy inside the Earth)
(6) Nuclear reactors
Can you think of any more? Well, I guess this is it. If you look at all of these, there is one thing that is crystal clear and that is this energy is limited and is a function of the surface area of the Earth. Notice that trees grow on the surface and only so many can grow per acre. It is the same with solar panels. The amount of energy they can collect on one acre is a limited amount. It is the same with wind. Are you starting to see that the amount of Green Energy that is available is limited so much per acre?
If you did not have algebra in school, you may find this next step difficult to understand, but I will try to make it simple. Think about when you were a kid at the play ground and you played on the teeter-tauter. To play, you had to balance the loads on both ends. How much fun was it when you were on one end and a big fat kid was on the other end? Not much! It is the same with this Green Energy, there is a limited amount per acre of the Earth's surface so wouldn't you expect that there would have to be no more than an equal number of people on the other end or on that acre of land?
Did you ever see how many people could live on Earth if we only used Green Energy? Remember that 100% of those acres can not be used to collect Green Energy, some have to be used to grow food and some will have to be used for houses, schools and factories. Further if we expect to have an even better quality of life we will need even more energy, space for our homes and places to jog around.
I do not have the exact numbers but I do know that in some countries they now have over two people per acre while the USA has has less than 0,125 or 8 acres per citizen. Remember that some of those acres are mountains, canyons, roads, national parks and deserts. That means the USA has about one citizen per +/- 4 acres. That does not leave much for the collection of Green Energy and a quality of life for USA citizens. Remember that some countries are now beyond hope due to their population density.
Are you stating to see that population control is the only path forward? I think the median population age is the best parameter of the problem areas. The median age of the USA population is 38.4 years and Canada's is 41, but look at Guatemala at 20 and El Salvador at 20.5 and 900 people per square mile. Why is no one in the Green Movement talking about population control, only clean energy? Are they cowards to not face our real problem? Do they understand that allowing more immigration into the USA from over populated countries only encourages more breeding? I do not think so. If they want to switch to Green Energy, they also need to understand that in the process they will require a reduction in the current level of the population here on Earth. Is their problem honesty or stupidity? It has to be one or the other!
