Have you ever heard some one in our government say this before? It is code words for the"Plausible Deni Ability". Don't you know what that is? I will try to explain it for you in this blog.
Just wait until the FBI testifies before congress. Comey will use this expression over and over. It does not mean that what ever congress is asking him never happened. It just mean that he does not know anything about it. As a parent, have you ever used this same expression when asked if your child ever acted up in school? You could say that you, "don't know", but it would make your child look a lot better if you said, "not to my knowledge". You won't hear the FBI say, "I don't know". Remember that the head man is responsible for all the actions of those who work under him and he should know. The type of question that will be asked by congress of Comey will look like this. "Who leaked information about Trump?" Comey will answer that it is very serious and we are investigating it.
Here is the type of discussion that I think that Obama had with his staff. "We need to keep track of what Trump and his group are doing." "If you have to stretch the rules, I don't want to know about it." This is how someone like Obama sets up their organization so that he will have "Plausible Deni Ability". It is hard to keep secrets straight in your mind if you have too much data. If you avoid ever having the data in your mind in the first place, you can always answer questions without a concern about revealing any secrets. That is how it works. I saw an interview with the Press Secretory for one of the Presidents who said that they did not want to know any information about things that the President did not want revealed. By doing this, the Press Secretary could feel confident that they would not accidentally reveal secret information. That is how it works!

PS--It was very interesting just "who" had access to the name of the accidentally wire tapped US citizen. I think that who ever released the information they never knew how "few" people had access. Remember that Obama's security advisor, Rice, who clearly lied about Bengazi had access to the names and the data. The bad thing about being caught in a clear lie is that she can never be trusted again. Remember also that the FBI said they can put another countries finger prints on a wire tap. Does that give you much confidence in the FBI now blaming some other country for a wire tap?
