If you have been watching the Republican primary election, then you know that many are unhappy with Donald Trump. They claim that many of his statements have offended some of the voters and particularly the top dogs in the Republican party. This blog is going to try to shed some light into the darkness.
99% of the experience that we all have with politicians is them dancing around difficult questions. Any statement that they make never comes to the point. They always have a little wiggle room in every answer. We have gotten so used to this type of behavior by politicians that we accept it as "normal". Many of you are parents and have children who often answer you simple and direct questions like they typical politicians. In the case of your kids, this would be totally unacceptable, but you seem to accept it from politicians. Why?
We all know that 100% of the terrorists have been Muslims. We also know that there are a lot of Muslims who are "not" terrorists. The problem is that before one of these terrorists kills your mother or one of your children, you can't tell which are to good ones and which are the bad ones. Why is it then, that calling the subset of terrorists "radical Muslims" is so politically incorrect? Are we so stupid that we can't deal with Muslims as "two" groups? The good ones and the bad ones and allow our politicians to dance around answering simple questions about dealing with terrorists. This is just one part of the problem with "PC".
We all know that people who broke our laws by slipping across out borders are "criminals", just as if they broke into your home. There is really no difference. What if the person who broke into your home was hungry and just looking for food? They would still be criminals. I think that even the simplest minded person knows that a society that has no respect for the law or officials who only enforce law that they like can survive. When Donald Trump clearly calls these people "criminals" rather than migrants, is Trump being honest or would you prefer a politician that calls them migrants? I think that politicians who do not call these people "criminals" is being dishonest. Don't we want our elected officials to be "honest" or would we prefer ones who are "dishonest" and PC?
What if I were to make the statement that, "there are a lot of women who are bitches"? Would that offend anyone? It is clearly a fact that there are many women who are bitches. What if I said that, "one of the biggest problems for the Black community is their out of wedlock birth rate"? Would that offend the Black community? Could only a Black person make that statement and not a White person? Would it be PC for a Black person and not for a White person?
For the record, it is like a breath of fresh air to see a person like Donald Trump who is not bound by PC'ness and who can answer direct questions with direct answers. It is very discouraging to have to listen to most of the others "dance" around simple direct questions to hid from us what their "honest" feelings or opinions are. You would not accept this kind of conduct from your own kids, so why do you take it from politicians?
