This is a short blog that I think will explain what is happening in Obama's second term. You all know that I am a technical person and use math and technology to analyse many situations. Normally the use of math and technology allows us to much better understand situations that, other wise, would appear to be very complex.
Look at Obama this way. He is the driver of a vehicle that moves very slow and is very complex and heavy. When Obama got behind the controls, the vehicle was sitting on the starting line. It was in exactly the place where it should have been. Next. Obama started driving. Since he was incompetent, he did not know how to drive the vehicle. Since the vehicle was going very slow, it was not far from the starting point nor was it too far off the correct track after his first term. People watching Obama drive could not detect that Obama was driving the vehicle over a cliff since the cliff was several miles away. During Obama's first term, Obama hand only driven the vehicle a few miles. People saw that he was off track, but it was not so far as to be of concerned. In the media, they saw Obama as "learning" how to drive and this was what was to be expected. Now Obama's second term.
Now, after four years of driving Obama has the vehicle, clearly, off track and going nearer and nearer to the cliff. Obama did one other thing. He pushed the gas peddle to the floor rather than going slow until he learned how to drive. You know kids who are like this. They have these big egos that will not allow them to go slow or to accept advice on their driving. What we have is just what one would expect when you put an incompetent behind the wheel of a complex vehicle. What fools most people is the fact that the vehicle is so slow. Anything as large as the US economy moves like a snail. It is hard to see it moving on a day by day basis. If you have been down at the sea shore watching the tide come in or go out, you know what I am talking about. You don't see anything happening, but when you go buy a hot dog and come back to check the status of the tide, it has change a lot. This is what I would call the "second term" affect. It happens in all systems, but is most confusing in systems that move slowly and are out of control at the same time..
If you jump off a short cliff, you are dead in an instant. If you jump out of a plane at 50,000 feet, it take a longer time before you are dead. Obama has us jumping out of a much higher plane and now in his second term you can see the ground coming up fast. Think about it.
