The media is doing every thing that it can to show the Covid-19 virus in the worst light. I will show that "normalization" corrects much of this biased data.
If you watch the biased media news, you would think that the governors of Florida, Texas and Arizona are all incompetent and New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts have responsible governors. Here is the data for deaths due to Covid-9 per 1,000 population.

Because the governor of Florida is a Republican, the media just can't say enough bad things about him, but states like New Jersey and New York have about four times the number of deaths. Why is it that the biased new media does not point all of this out or why doesn't the public demand that the media do a better job of reporting what is actually happening?
Texas and Florida have a much higher population that does the three states in the North East, so why is this fact not pointed out in the analysis? It is the responsibility of the public to demand that the biased media do a better job. If they do not, they only have themselves to blame.
PS--It is impossible for me to understand why most people and the media do not understand "normalization" and that you can not compare apple and oranges the same way. Why do you think they taught "percentages" in the 4th grade math class?

PS--If your "normalized" the deaths due to Covid-19 by over weight people, you would find that the USA does very well when you understand that the USA has more over weight people than any other country. Do you understand "normalization"? If not, do some home work!
