Obama Is At It Again, With Community College Student Loans

I just saw on the News that Obama is at it again wanting to give loans to kids going to our community colleges.  He proposes that the Federal Government put up 75% of the money and the states the other 25%.  I am not sure what amount is expected to be paid back, I think that is suppose to be "free".  Here is my concern about all this Obama stuff.

You have to first realize and admit that Obama is a Judas who wants to destroy the USA.  There are several ways that Obama has been doing this.  Squandering our wealth and the minds of our kids are two of  his best ways.  Go back and read my blog on the "Student Loan Cliff" to understand what he did with that program.

The economic future of the USA depends on how well we take advantage of technology.  That means our workforce has to be better qualified in technology than those who we have to compete with.  Simple isn't it?  Technical graduates from our colleges and universities hit its peak back in 1986 and has been going down or staying about the same.  What the figures don't tell is the fact that more and more of those who do graduate in the technical areas were born out side the USA.  That means our kids are still going down.  How can this be if we have over doubled the number of our kids graduating from our colleges and universities during this period?  The reason is that our schools, at all levels, have been dumbed down and most of the degrees awarded are also worthless.

For Obama, squandering our tax money on worthless degrees is a double winner.  His programs makes our children less economically competitive in the world and squanders our tax money at the same time.  I remind you that over 50% of our student loans are "under water" and loans to kids going to community colleges would be even more under water.  Notice that Obama's program only requires students to maintain a 2.5 grade point.  Given the degree of watering down of our schools, this is meaningless.  If it has any affect at all, it encourages our kids to take the easiest and most worthless classes. What we end up with is a bunch of kids who are pissed off (at who?) because they have spent both their time and money and now can not use that investment to earn a living.

Given that we are going backwards in the STEMs, one would think that we need a program that encourages more of our kids to take the more difficult STEM courses, but that is not what is happening.  There is even a "third rail" to Obama's program and that is it allows the Federal Government to get even deeper into our lives and our local schools.  Everything the government touches makes it worse or at least less economical.  If something the government does is "good", you could be assured that it is not done as economically as the private or local sector. That's a fact!

Given that the voting population is as incompetent as it is, I think that Obama's program will be seen as "free" money from Washington DC.  Most of our stupid population do not realize that any money they get from government is money taken by force from some other citizen.  China will loan Obama the money to fund his program because they, also, want to destroy the USA and are glad to help him.  Does that worry you?  If not, there is no hope!!

PS---I just spoke with member of the board of directors of  a group of community colleges and he said that the very last thing that community colleges need is more government involvement and regulations.  Given the high degree of unionization of our schools and colleges, Obama sees this as a way to toss a bone to his supporters while running up our national debit and get more control over our schools.  Unionized school teachers are the only ones who will come out ahead on Obama's "free money" program.

PS---Did you hear the news?  Student loans are now up to $1.6 trillion.  That money is like yesterday's steak and you know what it will be tomorrow.   It is the same for the $1.6 trillion that we have squandered.
