What on Earth are we doing in Liberia? This has to be one of the stupidest things that Obama has done so far. There is no way to help the people of Liberia because they do not seem to want to help themselves. How about a few facts. In 2013 the per person GNP was $454.00. For a family of 5, that works out to $2,270 per year. That is less than 5% of GNP per family here in the USA. You have to ask why the people of Liberia are so unproductive? If you look a little deeper, you will find that their problem is simple over breeding. They are like a bunch of rats that have gotten out of control since the cat died. Here are some numbers: The USA has a population per square mile of about 50. When I was a kid our population density was only about 25. I feel that the USA is a lot worse place due to the increase in population, just in my life time. Canada is about 20 per square mile for comparison. They are richer than us in every way including their quality of life. Now Liberia.
Back in 1990 Liberia had 59 people per square mile and in the last figures we have for 2010 they had 109 and by 2020 they will be up to 153 per square mile. Liberia is a breeding machine. It has to be clear to anyone with a brain that the only way to help Liberia is for them to reduce their population back to a level that their country can support. Their population is growing at about 4% per year and there is no way that their economy can ever grow fast enough to overcome their high population growth rate. Here in the USA, where we have every thing going for us, we can't even grow our economy at 4%. In the case of Liberia, about the only thing that they have in the way of an economy is resource extraction and that means it has to be divided by more and more people. Since the possible extraction wealth is limited, their only choice is to stop breeding and reduce their population.
Darwin is now at work helping Liberia do what they can not do with their human brains and that is to start killing off their people with some kind of disease like Ebola. Ebola is not the problem, it is over population and Ebola is just part of the solution for their irresponsible conduct. Sorry, but we all need to be honest and face the facts as hard hearted as they may sound.
All we need now is for some of the soldiers that Obama is sending into Liberia to come back and spread Ebola to us and the rest of the world. Why doesn't Obama send his old lady over there to help them? You know why!!!
PS---Think about it this way. Africa and most of the world are sailing in over loaded boats. In the case of Liberia, their boat is sinking and infected with Ebola. What do the people in the other over loaded boats do? Do they allow the people from Liberia to leave their sinking boat and get onto one of the other over loaded boats? If they do that the other boats will also sink. Understand the problem? What is your solution?
PS---I had a dog and a horse when I lived in Argentina and when I moved back to the USA, they put my dog in quarantine for two weeks before I could see him. They put a total ban on my horse because of Equine Encephillitis so I had to sell him. Why don't we do this for 100% of people who are from countries infected with Ebola? If we had done that, we would not be in a crisis in Dallas now. Is being politically correct going to end up killing our grandchildren?
PS--This looks like one of those Adam and Eve things. Where did the first person in Liberia get Ebola? If there was no person before infected with Ebola, how could some one get it? If we don't find that, this whole thing could happen all over again.
PS--Why can't the people of Liberia take care of this Ebola thing all by themselves? The answer to that is that they are too stupid. Rather than sending doctors from here to tell the people of Liberia how to deal with Ebola, why don't we just send over a few TV set and broadcast from a satellite the same thing that we would have said if we had been standing there in Liberia. If they can't get the message and follow it over the TV, there is no hope but to let Darwin punch their ticket. You have to ask if Liberia deserves to be part of the socially responsible human race.
