What do Las Vegas, the Super Bowl and the Presidential Election all have in common? More than you think. What is the objective of playing the Super Bowl? Didn't get it? It is to find out which team is the "best one". Simple concept, right? Well then, how does Las Vegas get into the act? All the gamblers "vote" with their bets to "predict" which team is the "best one". Isn't that what they are doing? Now we know that almost half of those who place bets are "wrong". They predicted wrong in terms of which team was the best one. Now, I ask you, "what is the difference in our Presidential election? It is the same. We all vote to predict which candidate is the "best one" to run the country. Now comes the problem. Most voters don't think that running the country is what matters. It only matters who we predicted would do the best job and we all know that we are often very wrong in our predictions.
I think if our voters could understand that voting for a President is just like placing a bet on one of the teams in the Super Bowl, we would get a much better result. If we vote for who we like, that would be like placing your bet in Las Vegas on the basis of the quarter back of one of the teams being the most good looking or who attended church with his family every Sunday. We have to think about this thing like the Super Bowl. I think a lot more of our voters use better logic when they consider who to bet on as the best one in the Super Bowl than they do for the President of the USA,
The bottom line for me is that the election demonstrated how stupid many voters are here in the USA. It is further clear that many of these same voters would soon be in the poor house if they were to bet on the Super Bowl. The problem is that we are all going to be in the poor house and the Judas is the one who is going to drag the county there. If you do not now know that Obama is a Judas, you do not have your eyes open. It always works this way this sheep and that is what many of our voters are. The sheep all die in the end and the Judas goes on to lead another band of sheep to the slaughter.
