What do these two guys have in common? Try a guess. Try again. Isn't P. T. Barnum the one who said, "You never go wrong under estimating the intelligence of people"? Have you ever heard that one? It worked for P. T. Barnum and it seems to be working for Obama. When you look around, do you feel that most of those people who you see are smart? Most normal people do. We normally look for the good in people. It has been the American way for 300 years. The problem is that with a country where 40% of our kids don't graduate from high school, maybe we are "not" smart and P. T. Barnum and Obama are correct.
Notice that Obama seems to always talks down to people. He knows that most of us are "not" smart. In fact, he treats us just like we deserve to be treated. Now look at the Republicans. They talk to people like they are smart. That has always been the American way, but their message is going right over the heads of most of Americans. That is the problem. Watch the different speeches in the up coming election and tell if I am wrong. P. T. Barnum had it right and you know it.
