Have you wondered why Democrats favor illegal immigration? I think that I have part of the answer in this blog.
First we need to look at their Equality Concept. They mouth that they are in favor of Americans being more equal in terms of out comes or income or quality of life. On the surface no one could be against this concept. It would be a great world if this were possible and true. but it is impossible. The fact is that being impossible is not a reason for Democrats to be against it as a waste of time and money. In a prior blog I gave my definition of equality as the ratio between median income and average income. If you do not remember that blog here it is. Quality of life is 100% correlated with income and income is easy to calculate. If you look at the difference between the average income and the median income. It is a easy quantitative measure of equality. The closer the more equality and the farther apart they are the worse the equality.
Now that you know this important relationship, let's move on. The rich and powerful seem to be more liberal and go along with the Democrats. Look at Google and the media as well as high paid actors in Hollywood, they will make more money if there are more poor people who they can sell things too. Look at Amazon or Walmart, they will get richer while the immigration of illegals will lower the median income. They live in gated communities, so they have little contact with these poor people so they don't care about them. Notice that the GNP has gone up while the median income has actually gone down.
Most did not know this, but these illegal immigrants count when it comes to how many representatives the state gets even if they can not vote because they are not citizens or their children are under age 18. Note that the illegal immigrants who are going to New York help them keep their representatives and thus allow them more electoral votes.
Next, look at the attacks on Trump. Because the voters who are primarily below the median on income are poorly informed the best way to get their vote is to focus on who they don't want to vote for. The best example is a young child who will not eat their dinner and when asked what the prefer only focus on what they don't want. You can suggest many possible things for dinner and they will all be rejected. this tends to prove that it is easier to convince poorly informed people what the do not want than it is to convince them of what the do want. That is why all the attacks on Trump personally. They don't attack Trumps actions, only him personally. Can't you see that?
I think if you understand my rambling above, then you are less mystified by the actions of the Democrats.
