I have been watching the Black Lives Matter movement and have a few comments.
If Blacks really feel that black lives matter, they should be more socially responsible. In a prior blog I listed the key things that Blacks need to start doing if they really expect to be respected. The only one that I will mention here is that they need to stop resisting arrest and cooperate with the police, no matter what. Blacks or anyone else can expect to get hurt if they resist the police. If they are in the right, there is plenty of time after the arrest to work things out and no one gets hurt. This one step would eliminate 99% of deaths of Blacks or anyone else at the hands of the police. It is that simple and this needs to be the message rather than always blaming the police.
When a Black or someone else resists the police with the intent of creating an incident, it is much like a terrorist attack. It consumes all kinds of public resources and accomplishes nothing in the end. It causes the same slow bleeding the same way a terrorist act causes a slow bleeding of our public wealth. We have enough trouble with radical Muslim terrorists that we don't need any more distractions. We all need to pull together for a change and that means that Black lives matter as well as the lives of all of our citizens.
We don't need anymore black lives matter terrorists.

PS--I know that it is easy to say, "pull together", but doing it is a much more difficult thing to actually do. Being poor is not an excuse. Resenting the fact that some people are better off than you is also not an excuse. Claiming that one is some kind of victim is not an excuse. If you feel that you are really a victim, there are legal ways to correct the situation without violence. If you are really the problem, look in the mirror and be honest and not a coward and try to change your ways. Admitting that you are the problem can be very difficult, but that is not an excuse either. We don't need any more Dallas's.
