Did you see Obama's news show? He spent 90% of his time lecturing us as to what we "really" want. The only reason that we don't go along with him and his decisions is that he has no explained them clearly enough. We are just too slow to understand all this complicated stuff. Obama, clearly does not get it. When asked about his big medical program and the fact that most people want it repealed, Obama explained that he would listen to ideas that would make it better. Doesn't he understand that the problem is just that we can not afford the program? He used the example of some person he met that had to take out a mortgage on their home to pay doctor bills. He seemed to claim that a person should not have to pay their doctor bills out of their own money. Some how, Obama and many people like him feel that someone else should pay their bills and that they should be able to spend their own money on things that they want. Is this a sick concept or what? Some how he feels that making insurance companies cover the adult kids of families can be done at no expense. Obama feels that if you find you have a serious medical condition that you should be able to buy an insurance policy for peanuts that could, somehow, save you money. Doesn't everyone know that on average, insurance costs more than just having everyone pay their own bills? Is Obama and many of us Americans that stupid? Sorry that I asked. Obama went off on electric cars again too. He claimed that if the government did not act in someway that companies would not buy electric cars. On this one point, he just might be correct, but the reason is that electric cars are not economical. They are a bad investment. Obama seems to have no concept of good and bad investments, wheather made by individuals or the government. Didn't he get the message from the real estate bubble? Wasn't that a perfect example of a bad government investment.
I go back to my old teaching days and again, remind people that the first step in the solution of a problem is to "admit" that you have a problem. Every drunk knows this. Why doesn't Obama? The first step in the 12 step programs is to admit that you are a drunk. Hey, Obama, you are a drunk.
